Set in a modern office, the aim of the game is simple: players must compete against the clock to chip a football into the target - a waste paper bin. Points are rewarded for the varying levels of skill exhibited with each goal.

The game has a global ranking list and special league system where players can become part of an industry league by specifying their business sector.
On top of playing the game, players can win one of several prizes including signed England shirts and footballs.
REED’s main objective was to create an enjoyable and addictive game for their existing and potential candidates, to add some excitement to the ‘typical’ summer’s day in the office.

REED was acutely aware that with the World Cup kicking off in June, people inbox’s will have been littered with nondescript football virals. The task set to Inbox was to create a game keeping within the World Cup theme but with a different slant to place it a league above the rest.
Lewis Woodward, Marketing and Communications Manager of REED says, “Inbox has produced a stunning viral game that we are confident will attract new candidates to REED. In this highly competitive market there is always pressure to find innovative ways of communicating with your audience – binballwizard allows us to communicate directly with our audience setting us apart from the competition”.
Oli Christie, Creative Director of Inbox Digital says, “If I see another penalty shootout or freekick game, I’ll spontaneously combust. However, what we’ve created for Reed is a unique football game in a different environment and we really believe it will create standout in the cluttered football viral market. It’s a great game and a lot of fun”.
